“It was brilliant and everything I expected from a tour and more. Jonathan was brilliant. He was always patient with me and nothing seemed to...”
Cath Danswan, Swindon Choral Society, Wiltshire
“Lovely venues, lovely audiences, comfortable accommodation. Alahree was very prompt and efficient with her responses and understood our needs well.”
Gill Chapman, Cecilia Singers, Berkshire
If you’re looking to take your ensemble away to somewhere different, but that’s not going to stretch pockets too far, why not consider the island of Tenerife for your next tour destination? Enjoy the temperate climate, allowing year-round travel, and the wealth of exciting visits, from the national park of Teide, with its towering volcano, to the fabulous water park, Siam Park.
There are plenty of outdoor venues, from town squares to purpose-built stages, where regular concerts are held. Many of the island’s churches and cathedrals also welcome visiting choirs, making this a destination that’s suitable for most ensemble types.
Day 1
Flight departs UK. Arrive on Tenerife and transfer by coach to hotel in Puerto de al Cruz. Time to relax and settle in.
Day 2
Morning in Lago Martinez in Puerto de la Cruz, a large seizure zone with seven artificial seawater swimming pools, gardens, cafes and cultural spaces. Afternoon concert on the stage at Siam Mall in Costa Adeje.
Day 3
Morning and early afternoon exploring the Mount Teide National Park, with a cable car trip up the volcano. See the impressive display of colours and shapes caused by countless lava flows from this live volcano. Evening concert on the main square of Puerto de la Cruz.
Day 4
Morning visit to the island’s capital, Santa Cruz. Explore the old town, visiting the wonderful market, and enjoy a walk along the city’s famous beach, Las Teresitas. Afternoon concert in the cathedral of San Cristobal in nearby La Laguna.
Day 5
Morning at Siam water park, one of Europe’s most spectacular water attractions. Transfer to airport for flight home.
A huge and exciting water park with a Siamese theme in Costa Adeje on the south of the island.
At 3,718m, this is Spain’s highest peak, lying in Tenerife’s largest park. Take the cable car and enjoy a fascinating day seeing the unique flora and fauna of this incredible volcano.
Famous for its many parrots, you’ll also find dolphins, orcas and all sorts of other animals at this attraction park.
These spectacular cliffs plunge into the sea on the west of the island. The best way to see them is up close on a boat trip.
We base or groups in a lovely 3 star hotel in Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of the island. The hotel lies on a quiet, pedestrianised street, close to the sea and the town’s amenities. All rooms have private bathroom and other facilities include a rooftop swimming pool and panoramic terrace, rehearsal and storage room, while the food at the hotel is generous and delicious!
We accept any group as long as they are used to performing together as an ensemble, even if only to their fellow students and parents. We always ask for a recent recording of your group and we have range of venues on offer that will welcome beginner groups as well as experienced ensembles.
We understand that when you go on a music tour where you stay is really important. All hotels and hostels we use are suitable for music ensembles with many offering rehearsal space and instrument storage. Rooms generally en-suite.
You should book your tour between 8-18 months in advance. This will give us time to find the best possible venues for your tour and you will have ample time for fundraising should you need to do so.
