Breath-taking scenery, miles of sandy beaches and wonderful concerts in historic churches. What more could you want from a choir tour?
Dorset is a beautiful English county with rolling hills and a spectacular coastline. And Bournemouth is a fantastic base for a weekend or short choir tour. Highcliffe Castle and Beaulieu Palace are within easy reach. While the beautiful and dramatic island of Brownsea and the incredible headland at Studland Bay are also nearby must sees. Perform in any number of churches and (for sacred choirs) take part in Evensong at Salisbury Cathedral.
Perform in churches in lovely villages around Bournemouth, at a popular arts centre in Poole or time your tour to be part of Bournemouth’s Arts by the Sea Festival, which takes place every October. Sacred choirs can take part in Evensong at Salisbury Cathedral.

In the rural Dorset countryside, this once lavish home destroyed by fires, has been described as arguably the most important surviving house of the romantic and picturesque style of architecture, which flourished at the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century. Its significance is recognised nationally by its Grade 1 status on the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural and Historical Interest.

Famous for red squirrels, peacocks and deer, Brownsea Island has a woodland, heathland and a lagoon that creates a unique haven for wildlife. Located in Poole Harbour it has spectacular views across the Purbeck Hills. The visitor centre contains a permanent exhibition about the history, flora and fauna of the island.

The Centre has an orangutan nursery which is the official crèche for orphaned and rejected orangutans in Europe. It provides sanctuary for over 250 primates of more than 20 different species. It works in conjunction with governments from across the world to stop the illegal smuggling of apes out of Asia and Africa. Guided tours are available.
Bournemouth has a range of hotels to suit all budgets. They are all placed in central locations, which will give you easy access to your venues and excursions. We will arrange for you stay in the accommodation that best suits your needs.
You should book your tour between 8-18 months in advance. This will give us time to find the best possible venues for your tour and you will have ample time for fundraising should you need to do so.
We accept any group as long as they are used to performing together as an ensemble, even if only to their fellow students and parents. We always ask for a recent recording of your group and we have range of venues on offer that will welcome beginner groups as well as experienced ensembles.
We understand that when you go on a music tour where you stay is really important. All hotels and hostels we use are suitable for music ensembles with many offering rehearsal space and instrument storage. Rooms generally en-suite.
