“It was brilliant and everything I expected from a tour and more. Jonathan was brilliant. He was always patient with me and nothing seemed to...”
Cath Danswan, Swindon Choral Society, Wiltshire

Suffolk is a superb destination for a choir tour. Composer Benjamin Britten lived in Lowestoft, Snape and Aldeburgh, bequeathing a musical legacy to the area. Groups enjoy the stillness and peace of the River Alde estuary and coastline, as well as visits to idyllic nearby villages and towns, including Bury St. Edmunds and Lavenham.
Suffolk welcomes the Aldeburgh Festival, founded by Britten in 1948, and the Bury St. Edmund Festival; there is so much interest in attending concerts. There are a variety of venues to choose from in peaceful surroundings.
Day 1
En route to accommodation visit the pretty village of Lavenham with its colourful, timber-framed houses.
Day 2
Excursion to the coastal town of Aldeburgh. Visit The Red House, the home of Benjamin Britten. Enjoy a walk along the beach. Afternoon concert in Aldeburgh. Continue to the renowned arts complex Snape Maltings. Explore its galleries and the surrounding nature with expanses of reeds and water. Dinner and see a concert at the Snape Maltings (subject to tour dates).
Day 3
Visit Bury St. Edmunds, perform a concert before returning home.
Composer Benjamin Britten lived here. There are a range of exhibitions.
One of the world’s leading centres of music with concerts, galleries, shops and cafés.
Stately home in the village of Long Melford. Ancestral seat of the Parker Baronets, now a National Trust property.

A: We work hard to generate excellent attendance at each concert, as we understand that an appreciative audience makes all the difference. We produce eye-catching posters and handbills, which are displayed and distributed in the environs of your concerts. We also advertise your concerts in online and hard copy local What’s On Guides as well as newspapers, by way of press releases. In addition, we invite local dignitaries, music societies and music students to your concerts. Last but not least, we provide you with posters for your concerts, which will be displayed in your coach and placed on your Club Europe poster board at your venue by your tour manager before each concert.
