If you have visited Verona before , you cannot miss the Wine journey into the Valpolicella valley and its land of vineyards.
As a matter of fact, Valpolicella’s name originate from the Latin “Vallis –polis-cellae”, which means: “valley of the many cellars”.
It is a splendid hilly territory located just a few kilometers from Verona, Valpolicella is enclosed between the Adige Valley, Lessinia (Pre-Alps), Verona and Lake Garda.
The region is characterized by rolling hills and fertile valleys at the feet of the imposing Dolomite Mountains immediately north.
In addition to enjoying an excellent climate, this area is filled with incomparable beauties: here one can admire stunning landscapes displaying green vineyards, olive groves, colored cherry and peach trees.
This region is rich of past traces like Roman Ruins, Venetian Villas, Romanesque churches, stately farm houses. Also, in the local wineries, our groups can taste the delicacies and wines of this rich land and give concerts to an appreciative audience! Wines, Music & Culture waits for you in this wonderful valley.
In this wonderful valley our group will have the pleasure to perform in such historic and elegant mansions such like: Masi Winery, Corte Lenguin di Vantini Silvio, Azienda Agricola Valentina Cubi and Villa della Torre Allegrini, just to mention a few of the possibilities. Marvelous settings to espress your music.
Masi is the leading producer of Amarone and has always interpreted the values of the Venetian regions in its wines with passion and commitment.
The Masi story is the history of a family and its vineyards in Valpolicella: one of the finest Italian wine production zones. Masi also manages the historic “château” belonging to the Conti Serego Alighieri, the noble house descended from Dante the Poet, whose family members have lived in Valpolicella since 1353.
From the peaks of Monte ST Urbano and La Masua, down to the sweeping plains of San Floriano, the Vines of Corte Lenguin extend over 10 hectares.
And here in the community of San Pietro in Cariano and also Marano, St Ambrogio, Fumane and Negrar, indeed in the vibrant beating heart of one of Italy greatest classic wine producing regions, The Valpolicella.
Here you will experience an exclusive environment, rediscovering the pleasure of outdoor life, the rhythms of a winery in Valpolicella, the relaxation of a region marked by the rhythms of nature. The courtyard are inspired by the traditional raw materials of the area, and are housed in an ancient rural court. Among the precious vineyard, in every season there is a mild Mediterranean climate, which will make your visit and concert special.
Set in the verdant, rolling hills of the Valpolicella, the Allegrini Estate is composed of a cellar, bottling and packaging facility, tasting rooms, a high-tech grape-drying center, over 100 hectares (247 acres) of family-owned vineyards, and a Renaissance Palace called Villa della Torre. In addition to being an historic tourist attraction in its own right, Villa della Torre is the company’s headquarters, a venue for private events and cultural initiatives, and a luxury Bed & Breakfast.
Located in the Monti Lessini foothills in the Valpolicella Classico area, Allegrini’s vineyards sit on highly favourable morainic, gravel soils and enjoy a unique Mediterranean micro-climate. This is thanks to the proximity of Lake Garda, which warms the valleys created by the Lessini mountains to the north.
The Allegrini family has lived in the Valpolicella for at least 5 centuries. The present owners, Marilisa and Franco Allegrini, represent the 6th generation of wine makers at the Estate.
