Music tours to Piedmont

Known for its refined architecture and cuisine, the Alps rising to the northwest of the city, here you can admire stately baroque buildings, old cafés in Turin's boulevards and grand squares like Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo. Another great building is the soaring spire of the Mole Antonelliana, a 19th-century tower housing the interactive National Cinema Museum.

Visit Neive and walk through cobbled lanes lined with picturesque cottages and catch a spectacular view of the verdant rolling hills and the vineyards cascading down them. There's a lot of history here too with a number of 13th century to 16th century villas (Casa dei Cotti is the most famous). Don't miss the charming little chapels of San Rocco and San Sebastiano and the 13th century Clock Tower (Torre dell'Orologio) either.

A former Roman resort, later home to the influential Visconti and Borromeo families. In the centre of the town are a number of well known churches with great historic value. The Lungolago ("Lakeside") offers a fine view of the castle of Angera and the Alps.

A long, beautiful lake on the south side of the Alps, shared by Italy’s Piedmont and Lombardy regions plus Switzerland’s Ticino canton. In the lake there are three spectacular and popular islands, with terraced gardens and aristocratic villas, which can be reached by boat from Stresa, one of the larger lake towns in Piedmont.

Asti is one of the renowned centres of wine production in Italy due to the excellent quality of grapes found in this region. Asti offers some interesting tourist attractions including museums and cathedrals along with some important monuments, which are worth visiting. There are also numerous festivals and events that take place here every year.
