Rome, Italy’s capital is full of 3,000 years of globally influential art, architecture and culture. This remarkable music tour destination was the fulcrum of the Roman Empire which can still be seen in the form of the iconic Colosseum and Roman Forum. Alongside this, Vatican City, headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church, boasts St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums, which house masterpieces such as Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel frescoes. Just outside of the city a 6 mile stretch of beach at Lido di Ostia is a popular spot to relax after the bustling city streets.
Settings such as the Sistine Chapel, San Paul Outside The Walls or the Pantheon are the perfect backdrop and atmosphere to inspire musicians of all levels. It’s always an absolute pleasure to see the amount of curiosity and appreciation from the locals and tourists our ensembles’ concerts inspire.
Day 1
Fly to Rome, transfer to your accommodation and the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 2
Morning visit to the Colosseum. Afternoon visit to the Vatican Museums followed by a mass performance at the St. Peter’s Basilica.
Day 3
Morning visit to Viterbo. Afternoon visit to Villa Lante. Evening concert at the Basilica of St. John Lateran.
Day 4
Day excursion to Cinecitta World followed by evening meal in Rome and final concert at the Basilica of St Paul Outside the Wall.
Day 5
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Like Pompeii, Ostia Antica is an ancient Roman ghost town—but this one lies just a subway ride from downtown Rome and comes with virtually no crowds. Steps away you will find relaxing beaches of Lido di Ostia.
Located about a 100 km northwest of Rome is one of the best-preserved medieval centres in Italy, popular with film crews in search of authentic atmosphere. Wander around the medieval lanes of San Pellegrino, a historical area of unaltered stone houses with the original external staircases, little lanes, squares and towers. Viterbo is also famous for its unique Papal palace.
Visit the magnificent gardens of Villa Lante, perhaps one of the most pristinely preserved examples of Renaissance landscapes in existence today with Its 22 hectares, Villa Lante one of the most famous Italian gardens in the world, to the point that the bushes’ extraordinary, geometric patterns overshadow the architecture.

Travelling by coach is the most economical and flexible way to tour. Be collected from your meeting point and arrive at your destination in comfort on air-conditioned, high specification coaches. Enjoy the freedom of your own vehicle whilst on tour and travel in comfort with reclining seats and toilet. More and more groups choose to fly. We can arrange your flights from your local airport as well as from London. Once you have arrived at your destination, we can provide transfers to your accommodation and local coach hire throughout your music tour.

Once your tour is booked, it is safely in our hands. We will only ask for you assistance in understanding your concert requirements and you will be responsible for ensuring that the dates on our checklist are adhered to. Until your departure, you simply need to prepare your musicians musically and compile the tour repertoire.
