The London 2012 Legacy means there are some stunning facilities for sports tour teams to enjoy in the capital over a weekend. Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park boasts former Olympic and Paralympic venues, including London Stadium, the London Aquatics Centre, Lee Valley Velopark and the Copper Box Arena, which hosts a variety of sporting matches from netball to Jujutsu. The facilities are surrounded by peaceful parklands and waterways.
The Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre has state-of-the-art facilities including two hockey pitches, four indoor tennis courts and six outdoor courts, available for public use, all year round. Teams can enjoy training and play hockey matches on striking water-based, Union Jack fringed pitches. The centre can also organise coaches. Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre sees many high-profile events, such as the 2018 Women’s Hockey World Cup.
Day 1
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Watch an inspiring international hockey match at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. Tour of the stunning London Olympic Stadium (subject to stadium events) followed by dinner in the hostel.
Day 2
Morning training session on elite pitches at the hockey centre. After lunch enjoy a match against a local team. Experience ArcelorMittal Orbit the world’s tallest, longest and fastest tunnel slide, while taking in great views of London. Before departure let off steam bowling and enjoy dinner.
An inspiring tour including panoramic views into the stadium, exploring the home changing room, visit the indoor running track, walk down the players’ tunnel and see the view from the managers dug out.

Try out an introduction to track cycling at Lee Valley Velopark, allegedly the fastest indoor track in the world.
Our hostel is within easy reach of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in the rural landscape of Lee Valley.
Once your school sports tour is booked, it is safely in our hands. We will only ask for your assistance in understanding your specific requirements and you will be responsible for ensuring that the dates on our checklist are adhered to. During the process, we will also ask you to provide accurate student and teacher names, passport and dietary requirement details where appropriate.
We can offer inspection trips tailored to your specific needs. We are more than happy to put you in touch with some of our happy clients.
We agree a three-stage process so that payments can be staggered to make it easier for parents.
