The stunning Lord’s Cricket Ground in north London offers a range of training possibilities under expert tuition for our young sports tour groups. Structured coaching sessions and performance analysis in state-of-the-art facilities, used by country and international cricketers, will invigorate players.
Groups can travel to south London to Kia Oval, where there are opportunities for engaging ground tours and watching a match (subject to tour dates).
There is also of course a wealth of fun activities in central London, where groups can spend time before or after their sports tour.
Day 1
Take a tour of Lord’s Cricket Ground by an expert guide. Enjoy the MCC Museum. Transfer to accommodation.
Day 2
Coaching at Lord’s Indoor Cricket Centre and performance analysis. Watch a match at the Kia Oval cricket ground, (subject to tour dates and availability of tickets).
Day 3
Local fixture. Play a match against local opposition. Afternoon boat trip on River Thames or visit to London Zoo before departure.
The world’s oldest sporting museum displays a variety of cricketing memorabilia.
Situated in leafy Regents Park, this zoo has an amazing collection of species from all around the world.
The Tower of London, the National Gallery, the Tate Modern, The Natural History Museum, BFI Imax 3D cinema, St. Paul’s Cathedral, a Wembley Tour (a 90-minute tour of the new stadium), The London Dungeons, a tour of the Olympic site, Kew Gardens, The London Central Mosque, the Science Museum and the London Aquarium.
A variety of good quality hotels and hostels in London including: The Generator Hostel, WC1, The Royal National Hotel,WC1 and The 23 Hostel, London, W2 where facilities include a pool table, café and internet Wi-Fi.
You will have your own bilingual sports tours rep for the whole of your tour. Their role is to coordinate your training/matches and activities/excursions and to ensure your stay is enjoyable, safe and memorable. All our reps are carefully selected, fully trained and are on duty 24 hours a day should an emergency arise.
We offer a variety of activities/excursions in each resort and will tailor-make your programme to your requests.
Once your school sports tour is booked, it is safely in our hands. We will only ask for your assistance in understanding your specific requirements and you will be responsible for ensuring that the dates on our checklist are adhered to. During the process, we will also ask you to provide accurate student and teacher names, passport and dietary requirement details where appropriate.
