Portugal Rugby Youth Festival (Lisbon)

The Portugal Rugby Youth Festival gives your sports tour team an unforgettable experience both on and off the pitch. The tournament takes place over Easter in the beautiful Lisbon University Stadium Complex, with its excellent grass pitches including its famous stadium, Estádio de Honra. Rugby matches against international opponents, exciting leisure time activities and great entertainment; all in one of Europe´s most exciting cities, with its warm weather climate and white sandy beaches.

Age categories (Boys & Girls categories)

Boys: U13, U15, U17 and U19.
Girls: U15 and U19.

Extra Activities/Excursions

  • Enjoy the Lisbon city tour.
  • Take a tour of the Stadiums in the area.
  • Enjoy training sessions with professional coaches.
  • Play additional friendly matches.

Where to stay

Various options dependent on budget and preference. Choose from holiday park, youth hostel or 3* hotels for 3/4/5 nights.

Sample Itinerary

Day one

Morning departure from school and arrive in Lisbon early afternoon. Meet rep at airport and travel to accommodation.

Day two

Today is the first day of competition so gather your team and head down to your first match. Shuttle buses run throughout the day to and from the tournament venue.

Day three

This morning matches continue for all teams with the finals being played this afternoon. After games have finished there will be a trophy ceremony including prize giving, food and drink and live music.

Day four

Check out and transfer to airport for flight home.

Availability of tickets for professional matches will be dictated by tour dates.
