Gothia Cup is the world’s largest and most international youth football tournament that takes place every July in Gothenburg, Sweden. This tournament that has been running since 1975 is attended by teams from more than 80 nations across the world. It prides itself on not only running a great tournament, but giving kids an all round incredible experience to meet new people and socialise with the world’s youth, irrespective of religion, skin colour or nationality.
Day 1
Morning departure from school. Check in to accommodation and register your team.
Day 2
Group stages start this morning followed this evening by the Gothia Opening Ceremony, a two- hour show of music, dancing, fireworks and a presentation of all participating nations.
Day 3
Group stages continue throughout the day. This evening is the Gothia Leaders Party at the Scandinavium arena.
Day 4
The last group stage games are played this morning leading into the start of the play offs this afternoon. The top two teams qualify for “Play-Off A” and the remaining teams for “Play-Off B”.
Day 5
Play offs continue today for all categories.
Day 6
Today is the start of the A-finals. If you haven’t made it this far then take the time to explore Gothenburg or watch some great matches.
Day 7
The B-finals are played this morning before check out and departure for your journey home.

You will have your own bilingual sports tours rep for the whole of your tour. Their role is to coordinate your training/matches and activities/excursions and to ensure your stay is enjoyable, safe and memorable. All our reps are carefully selected, fully trained and are on duty 24 hours a day should an emergency arise.
We can send you mini-broc hures to hand out at school and a Powerpoint Presentation for assemblies and parents’ meetings you may wish to hold.
