Access to this pretty tree-lined ski area is either from the gondola in Arinsal or La Massana, depending on where you are staying. In Arinsal, a variety of blues, reds and one black run are all available from this starting point, meaning that school groups can make excellent progression in a secluded area. The Arinsal ski school has a strong British presence with BASI -trained teachers and a team of adaptive coaches which make it perfect for beginners, new party leaders, young children and SEN pupils/groups.
If starting in La Massana, the gondola takes you up to Pal for sweeping, open runs, both in and above the trees with fantastic views of the whole valley. As the areas are linked with a gondola, you can enjoy both throughout the week and take advantage of several newly renovated self-service cafeterias, sun terraces and picnic areas, perfect for those all-important breaks.
View piste mapThe towns of Arinsal and La Massana are so close to each other that wherever you stay, you have easy access to bowling, ice-skating and pizza parties, as well as shops and cafes. A short coach transfer will take you to Escaldes for swimming in the stunning Caldea-Innu thermal baths and from there it is also a short walk up to the old town of Andorra la Vella.
You will have your own bilingual ski rep for the whole week. Their role is to coordinate your skiing arrangements and entertainment and to ensure your stay is enjoyable, safe and memorable. All our reps are carefully selected, fully trained and are on duty 24-hours a day should any emergency arise.
Yes, your rooms are retained until departure in most resorts.
Snow Security: Snow cannons operate in all our resorts to assist satisfactory snow cover on the lower slopes. This means in many Austrian resorts, skiing is now possible from early December until late April making Easter skiing an attractive proposition.
Snow Guarantee: We will pay up to £30 per person per day towards additional costs of transport and lift pass if all the lifts in your resort are closed due to adverse weather conditions or lack of snow.
