“Very helpful in setting up the trip. Overall: Well organised, extremely fun and full of memories.”

Obertauern is an excellent choice for school ski trips. The many access points from the village serve to keep queues to a minimum and there is a choice of nursery areas for beginners. For intermediate and advanced skiers a fantastic range of slopes opens up, mainly above the tree line, with some challenging open runs as well as narrow couloirs. The careful design of the area and the modern lift system enable intermediates to achieve rapid progress and to succeed in making a complete circular tour of the area at a relatively early stage.
View piste mapThe compact village is a short journey from your centre and is perfect for exploring in the evenings. Burn off energy at the local sports complex in their football hall, bowling alley or indoor tennis courts. For more traditional après-ski, take your group on a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the countryside, go night-skiing or chill out at the ever-popular Obertauern ski festival.
Easter offers a great opportunity for school groups, particularly those on a budget! Most of our resorts are either naturally high enough or benefit from the latest snow-making technology to guarantee snow at Easter. Better value flights and accommodation, fewer queues and warmer weather mean this is an ideal time for a school ski group.
We are able to offer you an optional very cost-effective pre-paid excursion programme to suit you. The choice typically includes swimming, bowling, watching a local ice hockey match, a Tirolean evening, ice curling in addition to in-house activities. Full details and prices will be given with your quotation. Please note that snow based activities may not be available at Easter.
We offer you all the advice and support you require – every step of the way. Rest assured; we organise everything. Or you could sign up for a SCO (Snowsport Course Organiser) course.
Snow Security: Snow cannons operate in all our resorts to assist satisfactory snow cover on the lower slopes. This means in many Austrian resorts, skiing is now possible from early December until late April making Easter skiing an attractive proposition.
Snow Guarantee: We will pay up to £30 per person per day towards additional costs of transport and lift pass if all the lifts in your resort are closed due to adverse weather conditions or lack of snow.
