On the slopes

Leysin’s 60km of pistes are suitable for skiers of all levels and are especially popular with students on our school ski trips. At altitudes varying from 1300m to 2200m and with snow guaranteed by permanent snow canons, Leysin is often host to important sporting events such as the Champs Open and the GiantX Tour. From the village centre, Leysin’s ski pistes are reached by taking either the Berneuse cable car or the Aï 4-man chairlift. All the lifts are built on south-facing slopes and are therefore very sunny. The resort is also connected to the neighbouring resort of Les Mosses, which allows even more skiing.

Leysin boasts a wide range of fantastic après-ski activities. The resort is well known for its tobogganing runs. This park offers four to eight tracks with sharp bends, on which visitors shoot down on snow tubes. Leysin also has two sports centres offering a large range of indoor and outdoor sports: swimming pool, skating rink, tennis, squash, climbing wall, fitness room and multisports hall. Afterwards treat yourself to a well deserved fondue in the igloo village.
