This World Cup ski region is the most sought-after Club Europe destination due to its fantastic all-round appeal. We offer the largest selection of accommodation of any schools operator in the region, spread across four different villages. We have built up longstanding relationships with local ski schools in each resort to ensure the best results for your ski group.
This is a particularly superb destination for school ski trips travelling by coach. Based in one of the four villages, with some centres offering doorstep skiing, you can also use your coach to take you to different entry points during the week. The Sportwelt is constantly looking for new ways to innovate and impress its loyal client base; recent improvements include the G-Link gondola linking the two mountains in Wagrain and a wide variety of challenging snowparks for freeriders. With 90% of the pistes also equipped with snow cannons, snow is guaranteed throughout the season. All in all, the Sportwelt offers an unbeatable mixture of sport, action, après-ski and hospitality!
View piste mapAll of our houses have their own superb facilities ranging from a private bowling alley to their own climbing walls but there is plenty to do in each village or within a short drive. For genuine local fun, why not try traditional Austrian curling or bowling and finish off the week with a Tyrolean evening? Other options include:
Most of our resorts are either naturally high enough or benefit from the latest snow-making technology to guarantee snow at Easter. Better value flights and accommodation, fewer queues and warmer weather mean this is an ideal time for a school ski group.
Now open to all school ski groups, on the middle Wednesday of the main ski weeks. Thrill at the skills of the Zeller Eisbären and soak up the atmosphere at this exciting event. Tickets include one soft drink per student and we recommend that you request the ice hockey match arly on as it is very popular!
This bustling resort now boasts five Club Europe houses all of an excellent standard. Our partner ski schools will choose one of three entry points for your group depending on the house you are staying at and the ability of your skiers. The Flying Mozart and Grafenberg Lifts are popular as they have superb beginner’s slopes as well as a quick uplift onto the upper slopes for progression. The new G-link cable car will transport skiers between the two mountains enabling skiing on both sides in one day. Most groups will ski into Flachau or Kleinarl during their week for some variety and to get kilometres under the skis.
Groups that stay in Flachau will ski from the Space Jet lifts, a 300 metre walk from your accommodation. Our ski school is based in Flachau and will ensure your group conquers the 100km of interconnected skiing that can take you over to Wagrain and back in one day. The slopes are wide and ideal for cruising and gaining confidence.
Groups will begin the week on the Radstadt/ Altenmarkt Mountain where our ski school is based. The gentle, wide blue slopes are a perfect confidence builder and by midweek you will be tasting the high altitude majesty of Zauchensee which offers some of the most breathtaking views in Austria. The more adventurous may ski one day in Filzmoos or even Flachau, all a short coach ride from your accommodation.
Beginners will start on the Hahnbaum family mountain with its great nursery and beginner slopes. Within a couple of days you will be taking the Alpendorf gondola up to the Hirschkogel mountain. From there, enjoy the 120 km of skiing in the Alpendorf ski area itself or join the Flachau-Wagrain ski carousel and enjoy the whole range of runs in the Amadé Skiwelt. Those who can’t resist a challenge shouldn’t miss the Alpendorf Betterpark, a paradise for freestylers!
Yes. We include a comprehensive insurance package in every tour unless instructed otherwise. We can provide you with the details.
Snow Security: Snow cannons operate in all our resorts to assist satisfactory snow cover on the lower slopes. This means in many Austrian resorts, skiing is now possible from early December until late April making Easter skiing an attractive proposition.
Snow Guarantee: We will pay up to £30 per person per day towards additional costs of transport and lift pass if all the lifts in your resort are closed due to adverse weather conditions or lack of snow.
Yes, we welcome groups of any size.
