The Val d'Allos, is at the edge of Mercantour National park in the southern French Alps and Provence. The region is made up of three areas: Val d'Allos village, Val d'Allos le Seignus and Val d'Allos la Foux. This hidden gem of a French ski resort provides 180km of linked slopes but without the crowds or high prices of more famous ski destinations in the French Alps.
The 35 lifts in the ski area access a wide range of slopes and an impressive amount of ski terrain, linked to neighbouring Pra Loup. Snowmaking ensures that snow is consistent on the lower slopes while the upper slopes are mostly above 2000m, providing reliable snow up until late spring, despite the resort's location in the southern French Alps. Start the week in the local valley of Le Seignus, gaining your ski legs and improving technique on the blue runs and then graduate to the steeper reds on the way to Pra Loup, as the week progresses. This makes it ideal for school groups particularly those with mixed abilities.
View piste mapThe purpose-built village is conveniently situated close to the slopes, and although small, has shops, restaurants and cafes. Ice-skating and husky sledding are both available in the village. A fixed toboggan run and torchlit ski descent will help keep even the most energetic students entertained.
We have developed an easy to use tour management portal - My Club Europe - just for our customers. With our portal you can manage all the promotion, payments, scheduling, passenger lists and much more with a click of a button. Click here to find out more.
Snow Security: Snow cannons operate in all our resorts to assist satisfactory snow cover on the lower slopes. This means in many Austrian resorts, skiing is now possible from early December until late April making Easter skiing an attractive proposition.
Snow Guarantee: We will pay up to £30 per person per day towards additional costs of transport and lift pass if all the lifts in your resort are closed due to adverse weather conditions or lack of snow.
We can send you mini-brochures to hand out at school, a Power point Presentation and our film link to film here for assemblies and parents’ meetings you may wish to hold.
