The proximity of the Aletsch glacier makes this resort an ideal base for ski groups who are also interested in geography and the environment. Visit the Glacier World exhibition to understand how the glacier has shaped the region or even take part in some avalanche rescue training. More traditional après-ski includes night-skiing, moonlight meals with torch-lit descent, snow-shoeing, swimming and ice-skating.
