Following the tragic events of the weekend and subsequent updates from the French Government, we wanted to assure all our clients about their forthcoming trip.

It is completely natural that these events and the media coverage since Friday will cause many people concern. Our job is to ensure, wherever possible, that you and the ensemble remain informed of the facts. We firmly believe that your tour will be unaffected by the current events, given the time lag.

As a company Club Europe follows the advice from The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) travel advice pages. They are updated daily and advice can also be found on their twitter feed.

As you can see this is advice for the very near future, relating to student groups only and we have no groups travelling to France until 2016. As an adult ensemble due to travel in 2016 we feel certain that your trip will be unaffected, however we believe that clear and relevant communication to your members will ensure they have the facts and not possible speculation that sometimes get reported in the media.

We want to keep you informed, so would recommend you and your members follow us on our Concert twitter feed. We will update this feed as and when we receive updates from the FCO and other bodies such as ABTA and the School Travel Forum.

If you want to speak to our Managing Director Tim Johnson, he is more than happy to help and can be contacted on +44 208 772 6446.

These are very challenging times but we believe the stance shown by France and Europe as a whole is to carry on as close to normal as possible, whilst ensuring we follow guidance from the experts.
