Alberto Ballico is an Italian ex-professional footballer turned singer/song writer and pianist. He joined Club Europe in 2010 and works as an Operations Manager arranging music tours for schools in different European countries.
He discovered his music talent at the tender age of 10, when he started playing the French Horn in his local brass band. It was also during this time that he started his rudimentary studies in music theory. At age 19 Alberto’s generous parents bought him a very fine black upright piano, on which he began to explore song writing. A couple of years later in February 1998, full of determination and self-belief, Alberto decided to emigrate to London to further familiarise himself with the English Language and broaden his horizons.
In London he continued his music studies and improved his musicianship skills by taking further music courses, including studying for a BA in Music. He played and sang in different college bands and currently plays in a rock cover band called the Subs.
Alberto is a very open-minded, positive and enthusiastic individual, who is eager to share his energy and thoughts through music with the current generation.
