For many years, our music groups have been experiencing Slovenia just for one day, by staying in Austria’s most southerly province, Carinthia. Now we would like to introduce Slovenia as a country that has plenty of offer in its own right. Its landscapes are sharply contrasting, from its soaring Julian mountains to the warm waters of the Adriatic, with beautiful rolling fields and meadows in between, dotted with delightful villages and majestic cities full of charm and character.
View mapOutside Ljubljana, we can arrange performances in the glorious resort of Bled, as well as in the medieval town of Radovljica. Other possibilities include a performance at the famous Postojna caves, or in one of the pretty seaside resorts on Slovenia’s tiny yet vibrant coastline.

The Park Hotel is a modern building just a stone’s throw away from the heart of Ljubljana, making this a very convenient place to stay. Groups are either accommodated in the hotel part of the building, where rooms are of a high standard, with private bathroom, or in the hostel section, where rooms are simpler, with bathroom facilities on the corridor. Downstairs, all groups eat in the dining room.
We can send you mini-brochures to hand out at your rehearsals and a PowerPoint presentation for assemblies and parent’s meetings you may wish to hold. We also have a promotional poster to put up around your school, which you can download here. This will make it easier for you to get your students excited about your plans.
We have drawn up a comprehensive step-by-step Guide to planning a school music tour for first time tourers. This covers all aspects of tour planning from budgeting and fundraising, to choosing the right destination, accommodation and performing venues for your ensemble. Click here to read our Guide.
We understand that school music tours are considered as a reward or holiday for many groups and that where you stay is really important. All hotels and hostels we use are suitable for young music ensembles with many offering rehearsal space and instrument storage. Rooms are normally multi-bedded for students and twins, sometimes singles, for adults. Generally, rooms are en-suite.
