Oxford, with its peaceful meadows, is a historic and bustling city that is easy to explore and a wonderful location for a school music tour. The centuries-old colleges lie mainly in the heart of the city and groups can step inside the atmospheric courtyards and gardens, in the footsteps of past scholars who studied here. Don’t miss out on Evensong at Christ Church Cathedral and punting on the River Isis.
There is a great appetite for a range of musical concerts in this very much lived-in university city, which offers a variety of venues; many churches in particular. You will perform to enthusiastic locals and tourists. Where possible, we will try to arrange for you to perform in local schools.

The stories of Oxford’s ghostly inhabitants who are said to still linger in this historic city will be revealed in a fascinating tour.
Take out a boat with a guide who will punt you down the river Isis or have a go yourself.
There is a range of accommodation options in and around Oxford, all well-placed for visiting many of the famous attractions, cultural hotspots and shops.
We accept any group as long as they are used to performing together as an ensemble, even if only to their fellow students and parents. We always ask for a recent recording of your group and we have range of venues on offer that will welcome beginner groups as well as experienced ensembles.
We can send you mini-brochures to hand out at your rehearsals and a PowerPoint presentation for assemblies and parent’s meetings you may wish to hold. We also have a promotional poster to put up around your school, which you can download here. This will make it easier for you to get your students excited about your plans.
