Netball team Surrey Storm are the Netball Superleague franchise for London and the South East. So this is a very inspiring base for a netball tour.
Surrey Storm camps see teams coached by Surrey Storm players, who get participants practising games and challenges, ball skills and movement, as well as core and stability work. There are more specific attack and defensive themes, including tactical set ups on court. The camps are tailored to the players’ ability and days end with a fun tournament.
Guildford is surrounded by beautiful countryside and not far from The South Downs National Park, where time could be spent before or after the camp.
Day 1
Arrival, enjoy a talk and Q&A with a player or coach.
Day 2
Morning session with Storm players. Afternoon match against a local team. Dinner in the Bench Sports Bar in the heart of the Park. Tickets to an evening match (subject to tour dates and availability).
Day 3
Training session and departure. Let off steam at GoApe en route home.
Get a tree top view of the beautiful South Downs.
Depending on the time of year, it is possible for groups to stay onsite in university accommodation. There is also a 3-star hotel close to the sports park, as well as YHA hostels in the area.
You will have your own bilingual sports tours rep for the whole of your tour. Their role is to coordinate your training/matches and activities/excursions and to ensure your stay is enjoyable, safe and memorable. All our reps are carefully selected, fully trained and are on duty 24 hours a day should an emergency arise.
We agree a three-stage process so that payments can be staggered to make it easier for parents.
You should book your tour between 8-18 months in advance. This will give us time to secure the best possible accommodation, matches and excursion programme for your tour and you will have ample time for fundraising should you need to do so.
