Physics students visit CERN in Geneva

  • Nov 10, 2014

One of our Surrey schools is just back from a student travel tour in Geneva, where they visited CERN, the world’s largest centre for scientific research.

In addition to CERN, the students also visited the United Nations Office, the Dam of Seujet and the Science Museum as well as enjoying a boat trip and a visit to a chocolaterie.

Their Physics teacher was delighted with the group’s experiences, saying, “The group were sixth form Physicists, so the visit to CERN and the Dam were very highly relevant. All the excursions were brilliant. Isabel [their Operations Manager] is clearly very experienced and thorough. Other schools commented on how impressed they were with our busy schedule.”

We look forward to hearing how our school from Addlestone enjoys their science trip to Geneva later his month.
