Berlin is, quite simply, an art student’s paradise. Like many things in the city, the art scene is exciting and diverse, ranging from the west of the city and the impressive UNESCO World Heritage site of Museum Island to established galleries of Charlottenburg, to the emerging, cutting edge, off-beat exhibition spaces to the south. There’s also a thriving street art scene, apparent across the entire city, and guided walks can be organised to show your students the latest works as they appear. If you want to show your students a wide range of genres in an exciting and iconic place, Berlin is your destination.
Day 1
Afternoon arrival in Berlin by air, take the S-Bahn/U-Bahn to your accommodation. Time to settle in and explore the local area. Evening meal at your accommodation, then a tour of the Reichstag’s dome followed by an evening walk to the Brandenburg Gate.

We’d suggest either Art Berlin (September) or Gallery Weekend (April) but can suggest others to tie in with your dates.

You should book your tour between 8-18 months in advance. This will give us time to secure the best possible accommodation and excursion programme for your tour and you will have ample time for fundraising should you need to do so.
Once your student travel tour is booked, it is safely in our hands. We will only ask for you assistance in understanding your specific requirements and you will be responsible for ensuring that the dates on our checklist are adhered to. During the process, we will also ask you to provide accurate student and teacher name, passport and dietary requirement details where appropriate.
Yes, there are many advantages to this. One is that greater numbers sign up which means a lower tour price per student. Another is that a diverse (two-subject) itinerary can broaden the horizons of both ‘groups’ though, of course, we can create separate agendas for each if preferred.
