New! Art trip to Normandy

  • Mar 14, 2016

We’re delighted to be launching a new art trip to Normandy for students of the Impressionists.

On our trip, students can literally walk in the footsteps of the Impressionists; Giverny, Dieppe, Fécamp, Honfleur, Port-en-Bessin and Gréville, all have a network of circular rural or urban walks so students will explore places where the Impressionists worked in the open air and discover some magnificent landscapes.

Our trip includes specialist Impressionist painting workshops as well as visits to the fine art museums in Rouen and Le Havre, which boast two of the largest collections of Impressionist paintings in France.

A visit to Dieppe Castle with its magnificent collection of Impressionist works is also part of the itinerary.

Inspired by what they see, there will be plenty of time during our trip for students to paint themselves and put what they’ve learnt during the day into practice.
