We’re delighted to be sponsoring Tri4Duchenne, a triathlon that will take place this summer and raise money for local charity, the Duchenne Children’s Trust.
The event, which will take place on June 14th, is aiming to raise over £100,000, as part of a commitment to fund the research that will end Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a particularly cruel and sometimes fatal genetic muscle wasting disorder.
The event is being organised by the brave parents of four year old Jamie Latham, who has the condition. The couple have enlisted over 150 parents from local schools, predominantly Thomas’s London day school, all of whom are going to don a wetsuit, ride a bike and then pound the 5 or 10kms to complete the event.
We are organising the Thomas London Day School’s February half term ski trip to Radstadt in Austria next year, when they will be staying at the fabulous Bachlehen (pictured), which offers wonderful facilities including a swimming pool and an indoor sports hall as well as doorstep skiing.
We’re delighted to be able to get involved with the school in this way by sponsoring the event which is for such a worthy cause. Some members of our staff will also be competing in the event too.
Please get in touch if you’d like to know more.
