Our Ski Operations Manager Alison Wareham has just come back from an inspection trip to Austria where the snow and conditions and are looking great.

“Austria has been enjoying the coldest November for 30 years and even with the forecast warmer weekend, the ski resort of Kühtai has been transformed into a winter wonderland.
“Our base in the area, Gries im Sellrain is a true gem and really worth discovering. I was so pleased to meet the Florijn family, owners of the Grieserhof, our hotel in the village, as well as our wonderful ski hire and ski school partners.
“Gerold took some time off planning ski lessons and touring for school ski trip groups, to show me round the Kühtai ski area, already glistening with snow. I love the fact Kühtai is so high but because all the runs end in a bowl, it is a safe and easy place to oversee school ski groups.
“Once again I was reminded of the relaxed, family atmosphere and welcoming hosts, which just make this the perfect resort for trip leaders on their first student ski trip or for those taking younger students skiing. The resort opens in two weeks – wish you were here?”
