Our Ski Operations Manager, Alison Wareham flew out to Austria at the end of last year to make sure, everything was in place for our upcoming ski season.

She says: “I have just returned from a busy few days in Austria finalising the preparations for the first school ski trips of the winter season.

“I am really excited by the action-packed programme planned for our international schools in Kaprun, which include full days of ski lessons on the glacier and mountain awareness workshops.

“The evening enrichment programme gives the groups a taste of local traditions, with horse-drawn carriage rides, Tyrolean music and an ice hockey match. I am also delighted to say that widespread reports of snow dumps in the Alps are absolutely true! All the pistes on the Kitzstein glacier are open with excellent snow coverage.”
