Overall Review

I have worked wit Hannah on tours since our very first one in 2007, never any issue – everthing just works! Thank you Hannah! Communication [with Isabel] was prompt and efficient – thank you! This year we got rooming and the itinerary very quickly – liked all the excursions being pre-paid. Club Europe provided us the platform to give our students an unforgettable tour, that many of them had never experienced before.

Concerts Review

[On performing in a town square] The concert was fantastic, our first of the tour and gave our young musicians a taste of performing abroad. [On performing an outdoor concert ] This venue has a great atmosphere, we would want to return here again! The local tourist office provided a van to move equipment to the venue and drinks were provided in the youth hostel – this was a lovely touch and most appreciated. A local person was on hand to control microphones and sound. [On a concert in a hall ] This was our best concert and the audience was fantastic! Following the concert we walked to the Menin Gate and sang a version of In Flanders Field, a very poignant moment that students will not forget.

Accommodation Review

A good location in a lovely region – well located. Staff were very helpful – especially Sandra in the Kitchen, excellent food and we were well looked after.

Rep Review

Justine was BRILLANT!!!! We could not fault her. She worked with the staff, students and coach driver very well. She sorted everything! She sorted all of the little things that would have given us a headache! Could not ask for anymore.  She was an integral part of our tour success – thank you!

Transport Review

Dick was a part of our team – nothing was too much trouble. He was totally professional with his role – amazing driver.  We have had this coach company before and we had high expectations and these were met – the coach had hot water, and a toilet. The seats were comfortable. No issues.  A student left their mobile phone on the coach. The following day the phone was found. Dick was on a run to Manchester airport and upon his return stopped at a local motorway junction to hand over the phone – what can I say – 1st class service!

Overall Review

Alahree was absolutely amazing from the first conversation we had, supportive and helpful and crucially really bought into my vision what we wanted to do. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Isabel was equally amazing. She was always available to chat and made everything really easy. In fact everyone I dealt with at Club Europe was amazing. The Club Europe experience was absolutely perfect. Other than getting married, our Club Europe tour is the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. It was huge as a learning experience for our students. It was truly life changing for the young people and the staff.  It’s made the group we took into an unbreakable family and has had the most profound effect on the confidence of every single one of them.

Concerts Review

[On a beach club concert ] I think that was probably the best gig we had ever done and our young people constantly still talk about that night. The whole show was a highlight but the last song Eggshells starting up while the sunset streamed in the window was pure magic. I would walk to The Hague from here to get the chance to live that show again. It was exactly why we did the tour in the first place. [On a concert in a school ] Great, outdoor show with a big stage space. Huge success. The highlight for me was after our show when the school performed their “school song” for us, which basically turned into a full on rave. Amazing.

Visits Review

In particular the museum speelklok was absolutely brilliant and all our young people loved it. On the final evening we did an extra gig at our accommodation which was brilliant.

Accommodation Review

Ideal. Great place to be just in town and easy to get everywhere. It’s the nicest hostel I’ve ever been in. Really amazing. It was right in town but off the main square enough that it was quiet. Perfect. The communal space was perfect and no one minded us all hanging out with guitars practising. The conference room we used for full rehearsals and gear storage was also ideal.

Rep Review

Honestly I can’t speak highly enough of Josh. He learned everyone’s names in about ten minutes and from that point on was just one of the gang. Josh did so much more than I ever expected and the whole process was made enjoyable for me because Josh carried all the stress. He has become part of the Qube Records family, and in fact he is visiting school this week to see everyone! I’ve never met anyone like him and we’ve become firm friends. Top top man.

Transport Review

Faultless. Brilliant. They were part of the group, came bowling with us and were truly in the gang.

“Both students and staff thoroughly enjoyed the trip. I would definitely recommend Namur for young musicians. This was the seventh tour our school has taken with Club Europe. They are excellent at what they do and extremely patient. I wouldn’t want to trust myself and 40 teenagers with another company. A well organised and highly enjoyable trip made easy.”

Visits Review

“The highlight of our Space Centre tour must have been the walking on the moon experience which everybody loved. The river cruise was relaxing and calm in a lovely setting and everybody loved the theme park.”

Accommodation Review

“The accommodation was very pleasant and staff keen to help where they could. The location was well suited for us, far enough outside the town centre to be quiet but also within a comfortable walking distance.”

Rep Review

“Hannah worked extremely well with both staff and coach drivers. She knew exactly what was happening at all times as well as socialising well. She made sure that everything was easy. Wherever we went she was there to speak with organisers - an extra pair of hands with concerts and she joined in all aspects of the tour.”

Introduction

Your privacy is paramount to us. This Privacy Notice explains in detail the types of personal data we may collect about you when you interact with us. It also explains how we’ll store and handle that data, and keep it safe.

We hope the following sections will answer any questions you have but if not, please do get in touch with us.

We will never share your data with a third party for marketing purposes; it’s not how we work.

1. What is personal data

Personal data refers to information about you, and from which you could be identified.  It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).  There are “special categories” of more personal data which require a higher level of protection.

2. Who does what

Club Europe holidays Ltd is the data controller and we have appointed Tim Johnson as the Data Processing Officer. To keep things simple, when we refer to “we” and “us” it means Club Europe.

3. Legal basis explained

The new laws of data protection set out a number of different reasons for which a company may collect and process your personal data. We believe the following apply to you in terms of how we work:-

Consent

In specific situations, we can collect and process your data with your consent.

For example, when you tick a box to receive our marketing updates.

Contractual obligations

In certain circumstances, we need your personal data to comply with our contractual obligations.

For example, in planning and executing your tour, we will need important personal data such as names, emergency mobile contact numbers, passport information and dietary or medical requirements. We use these only to fulfil our contractual obligations and promise to keep them safe and secure.

Legitimate interest

Where we have an ongoing relationship with you, we will use the non sensitive data we store such as email addresses & past tour information to help us keep you informed of our products and social events.

For example, we will look back on previous tour destinations you may have been to and offer new tours that may be relevant.

We will also use your details to send you direct marketing information by email and occasionally post, telling you about products and services that we think might interest you.

You will have the right to unsubscribe at any time and we will respect your preferences.

4. What sort of personal data do we collect?

We collect your name, email address, school or club address, mobile telephone and work contact number as a minimum.

Where you are planning a tour with us we will, at the appropriate time, request that you complete additional passenger information for the group you are responsible for. The information we will request is passport details, dietary or medical requirements, dates of birth, gender, ski ability, height, weight and details of any musical instruments your group may be bringing. If we need to refund you monies then we will request an appropriate bank or building society account. The account and sort code will only be stored in our secure Banking software in case we need to pay you again.

We’ll only ask for and use your personal data collected for recommending tours or inviting you to social events we may be planning. Of course, it’s always your choice whether you share such details with us.

These requirements may differ depending on your destination and you are advised to check. Even if not mandatory, we may exercise our discretion to assist where appropriate.
