I cannot really express in words adequately enough how fantastic Lucy is, and has been for the last however many years! Sabine has been excellent as ever and again, as with Lucy, she puts up with me and copes with all my demands and last minute changes . All paperwork was very clear, organised and all lines of communication super. From the initial ideas and discussion, through the planning stages to the tour itself the whole team are absolutely superb. Communication is excellent and our wishes are always taken into consideration and acted upon. The concert venues were superb and it was obvious they had been well publicised. Always an excellent experience to tour with you! A really good, successful tour which was described by the students for whom this was their fifth tour as ‘the best tour ever!’

Concerts Review

[On perfoming outside a chruch  Perfect venue, lovely steps for the choirs to stand on, great acoustic and a huge, fabulous appreciative audience. Huge success and the organiser was very happy indeed! The choirs performed amazingly well – especially the Senior Vocals Girls Choir. A special concert indeed! Well organised, well publicised, huge and appreciative audience who were moved to tears by the singing. [On performing in a museum of music] Absolutely super! The venue was amazing and the ability to hire the grand piano at the last minute was great! Lovely large open space allowing us to place the band towards the back and the choirs in front. Really helpful staff and the agents son was superb in helping set up and sorting out any issues. A tremendous success. A standing ovation at the end and several encores required. The audience loved it!

Accommodation Review

The hotel was perfect for a school group and the accommodation was clean, students were not packed too tightly into the rooms, the staff rooms were situated with the student rooms and there were staff on every floor.  Perfect location and ideal for a music group. We used the instrument storage room for rehearsals as well. It was big enough and situated out of the way so perfect.

Hannah was fantastic as always. Extremely efficient, thorough, professional and patient. Sabine was extremely helpful and thorough with all of my requests. She left no stone unturned to provide us with an unforgettable tour. Our chamber choir tour to Prague is something that we will never forget (from our year 7s right up to staff) – probably for the rest of our lives. Thank you.

Concerts Review

[On a concert in a cathedral] The most significant Church/cathedral in the Czech Republic – of course we’d like to return! [On an outdoor concert] A beautiful outdoor garden performance – very informal. No acoustics but it was so intimate and quiet – a beautiful moment. [On a concert in a museum] The best acoustic of the tour – it was awesome, especially for our choir. It felt like the clouds of Heaven itself has parted and a choir of angels descended. This venue was one of the highlights of the tour because of the acoustic and appreciative audience. It was honestly a special moment for me, our girls and their visiting families. [On a concert in a church] A beautiful church, lovely acoustic, great location, appreciative and knowledgeable audience.

Accommodation Review

Prague was a fantastic destination, especially for choirs. It was perfect for groups. The buffet food at breakfast and dinner was excellent and very tasty.

During a busy tour, Jitka helped us move seamlessly through Prague and into venues without a single hiccup. She was fantastic – almost too good at times when she would talk the girls through the next day before I even got a chance to have a chat with them. Couldn’t have done it without her – extremely pleasant and helpful.

It is very strange because although I haven’t spoken to Alahree [their Account Manager] in person, she feels like a friend through email. Very quick to respond, always helpful nothing is too much trouble to sort out. Similarly Sabine [their Operations Manager] has been patient, helpful and kind. Overall: Great company to use. I really like the fact accommodation is of a good quality when my staff and myself are giving up our holiday it is nice to know we have somewhere comfortable to stay.

Accommodation Review

A good standard of hotel for all. The food was varied and plentiful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We also felt very secure/safe due to the security staff on duty walking the corridors.

Transport Review

All the drivers who were involved were great, but Steve and Dave were lovely people, nothing was too much trouble. Couldn’t fault them, best we have had.

The river cruise was great too, and the food was lovely. The walking tour of Prague was perfect. AquaPalace was very much appreciated by students, who loved all the flumes/wave machines.”

“The hotel was great. They went out of their way to cater for our vegan even though the Czechs really don’t get veganism. The rooms were perfect and the bar was open all night(!)”

3. Legal basis explained

The new laws of data protection set out a number of different reasons for which a company may collect and process your personal data. We believe the following apply to you in terms of how we work:-

Consent

In specific situations, we can collect and process your data with your consent.

For example, when you tick a box to receive our marketing updates.

Contractual obligations

In certain circumstances, we need your personal data to comply with our contractual obligations.

For example, in planning and executing your tour, we will need important personal data such as names, emergency mobile contact numbers, passport information and dietary or medical requirements. We use these only to fulfil our contractual obligations and promise to keep them safe and secure.

Legitimate interest

Where we have an ongoing relationship with you, we will use the non sensitive data we store such as email addresses & past tour information to help us keep you informed of our products and social events.

For example, we will look back on previous tour destinations you may have been to and offer new tours that may be relevant.

We will also use your details to send you direct marketing information by email and occasionally post, telling you about products and services that we think might interest you.

You will have the right to unsubscribe at any time and we will respect your preferences.

4. What sort of personal data do we collect?

We collect your name, email address, school or club address, mobile telephone and work contact number as a minimum.

Where you are planning a tour with us we will, at the appropriate time, request that you complete additional passenger information for the group you are responsible for. The information we will request is passport details, dietary or medical requirements, dates of birth, gender, ski ability, height, weight and details of any musical instruments your group may be bringing. If we need to refund you monies then we will request an appropriate bank or building society account. The account and sort code will only be stored in our secure Banking software in case we need to pay you again.
