“The location was nice and central so we could walk to places as well. The food was good, it was buffet and everyone was catered...”
Hanh, Head of Music, Hertfordshire
“So much to see and do - we could easily go again with a completely different itinerary. Met my expectations as a vibrant capital city.”
Paul, Director of Music, London
Berlin has evolved in recent years from being the symbol of the East/West division to the place where the two now meet and entwine. Berlin is a unique and fascinating city, which, since the fall of the Wall in 1989 has become one of Europe’s most buzzing capital cities. The colourful remains of the wall, sites of National Socialist conferences and the Prussian palaces are evidence of just some of the momentous historical events which have taken place here, while the city also displays the cutting edge in modern architecture.
View mapBerlin Cathedral and St.George's Anglican Church welcome choirs and recitals. Many more churches, if less well known, are hugely enthusiastic when receiving groups. The Augustinum Retirement centre has a purpose-built theatre and is very keen to receive our groups. Why not go further afield and cross the border into Poland (2 hour drive) and perform in the castle precinct in Szczecin?

A warm welcome awaits you at the friendly and well located Berlin International Youth Hostel. The centrally based centre offers superb facilities for students including a large group area with games and a flat screen television as well as a spacious room for rehearsals and concerts. Outdoor facilities include table tennis and a barbeque area for groups wishing to spend a summer evening enjoying the atmosphere of a ‘Grillfest’. The hostel’s location just off the Tiergarten, lends itself ideally for flight groups wishing to take public transport or walk into central Berlin.
We work hard to generate excellent attendance at each concert, as we understand that an appreciative audience makes all the difference. We produce eye-catching posters and handbills, which are displayed and distributed in the environs of your concerts. We also advertise your concerts in online and hard copy local What’s On Guides as well as newspapers, by way of press releases. In addition, we invite local dignitaries, music societies and music students to your concerts. Last but not least, we provide you with posters for your concerts, which will be displayed in your coach and placed on your Club Europe poster board at your venue by your tour manager before each concert.
Once your tour is booked, it is safely in our hands. We will only ask for you assistance in understanding your concert requirements and you will be responsible for ensuring that the dates on our checklist are adhered to. Until your departure, you simply need to prepare your musicians musically and compile the tour repertoire.
We understand that school music tours are considered as a reward or holiday for many groups and that where you stay is really important. All hotels and hostels we use are suitable for young music ensembles with many offering rehearsal space and instrument storage. Rooms are normally multi-bedded for students and twins, sometimes singles, for adults. Generally, rooms are en-suite.
