Famous for its Cathedral Square, now known as Old Town which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994, Vilnius offers a beautiful and awesome mixture of Baroque, Gothic, Neoclassical and Renaissance architecture. In addition to performing in some wonderful historic churches, there is plenty to see from the Lithuanian eccentricities in the Republic of Užupis, to the interesting collection of museums and galleries and parks. The city’s Jewish influence until the 20th century has led to it being described as the “Jerusalem of Lita".

We understand that school music tours are considered as a reward or holiday for many groups and that where you stay is really important. All hotels and hostels we use are suitable for young music ensembles with many offering rehearsal space and instrument storage. Rooms are normally multi-bedded for students and twins, sometimes singles, for adults. Generally, rooms are en-suite.
The most pleasant times of year to come to Europe are May to September, therefore you may wish to consider this when planning your tour. Summer temperatures across Europe range from 18-35 degrees Celsius. European cities in winter can also offer many interesting cultural experiences that you may enjoy.
You should book your tour between 8-18 months in advance. This will give us time to find the best possible venues for your tour and you will have ample time for fundraising should you need to do so.
