Spain’s Costa Dorada, or ‘Gold Coast’ is one of our most popular ‘sunny’ destinations. An easy drive south from Barcelona, it is less developed than its northern neighbour, the Costa Brava and although it lacks coastal drama, it does have lovely sandy beaches which students and staff alike will enjoy. There is also easy access to the glorious Roman city of Tarragona, and the excellent theme park of Universal Port Aventura, just 8 miles along the coast.
View mapDuring the summer months, countless colourful music festivals take place across the region and we will programme you to take part in these wherever possible. The real advantage of this destination is that, even in spring and autumn, the weather is good enough for outdoor performances. Also, at these times, concerts in schools can be arranged. For groups wishing to perform indoors, churches, community centres and concert halls welcome performances and attract appreciative audiences.

The most pleasant times of year to come to Europe are May to September, therefore you may wish to consider this when planning your tour. Summer temperatures across Europe range from 18-35 degrees Celsius. European cities in winter can also offer many interesting cultural experiences that you may enjoy.
We can send you mini-brochures to hand out at your rehearsals and a PowerPoint presentation for assemblies and parent’s meetings you may wish to hold. We also have a promotional poster to put up around your school, which you can download here. This will make it easier for you to get your students excited about your plans.
Once your tour is booked, it is safely in our hands. We will only ask for you assistance in understanding your concert requirements and you will be responsible for ensuring that the dates on our checklist are adhered to. Until your departure, you simply need to prepare your musicians musically and compile the tour repertoire.
