The Costa Brava, lying to the north of Barcelona, is blessed with a beautiful, wild coastline flanked by rugged cliffs which create stunning little bays and sandy coves. The weather is reliably sunny and although popular with tourists the area still manages to retain its Spanish essence. The Costa Brava offers bustling seaside resorts and quiet fishing villages with an extensive choice of excursion possibilities.
View mapIn Barcelona, we have excellent relationships with several important churches, including the magnificent Cathedral. You can normally perform either as part of the Mass or in concert. Other interesting venues include the lighthouse in Tossa de Mar, the Ciutadella in Roses and the monastery of Besalu.
Day 1
Lunchtime departure, afternoon ferry and overnight travel.
Day 2
Lunchtime arrival in resort. Afternoon free to explore.
Day 3
Morning excursion to Monserrat monastery. Free time followed by lunchtime recital at the monastery after the Mass. Depart early afternoon for Cervia de Ter. Evening concert at Cervia de Ter and return to Tossa de Mar.
Day 4
Depart after breakfast for Barcelona to take part in Mass at Barcelona Cathedral, followed by a concert. Afternoon visit to Montjuic to see the Olympic stadium and Poble Espanyol. Return for evening in resort.
Day 5
Morning visit to Barcelona to explore the Ramblas. Afternoon visit to the Picasso Museum. Return to Tossa de Mar for evening concert.
Day 6
Morning free in resort. Afternoon departure for overnight coach travel.
Day 7
Morning ferry and afternoon arrival home.
The Costa Brava is full of festivals in which our groups can participate. These include the prestigious festival of Empuries, where high quality ensembles are invited to perform.
Parc Guell, Camp Nou football stadium, las Ramblas for shopping and the excellent zoo.
Dali Museum. Montserrat: ancient monastery perched amidst incredible rock formations.

The Costa Meresme is the stretch of coastline between Barcelona and Tossa de Mar comprising the two resorts of Santa Susannah and Malgrat de Mar. The three star Hotel Sorra Daurada is typical of the hotels we use and is located in Malgrat on the beach front approximately one hour from Barcelona and Girona. It offers great facilities including swimming pool and bar and students are in 3-4 bedded rooms with ensuite bathroom.

We accept any group as long as they are used to performing together as an ensemble, even if only to their fellow students and parents. We always ask for a recent recording of your group and we have range of venues on offer that will welcome beginner groups as well as experienced ensembles.
The most pleasant times of year to come to Europe are May to September, therefore you may wish to consider this when planning your tour. Summer temperatures across Europe range from 18-35 degrees Celsius. European cities in winter can also offer many interesting cultural experiences that you may enjoy.
