Overall Review

Hannah was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She always provided accurate and relevant information and is always able to put my mind at rest and answer my questions. I was really impressed with Hannah and her detailed communication. This is out second tour with Club Europe and the experience again was fantastic from the word go, from the initial planning to customising the itinerary to the stunning performance venues. I cannot recommend Club Europe enough to other colleagues in the profession. Bravo Club Europe!

Concerts Review

[On playing in Barcelona Cathedral]  A fantastic performing venue. The acoustics were stunning and we were all blown away by the beauty of the setting.

Accommodation Review

The hotel worked well for the tour party and was suitable with a variety of rooms to cater for our needs.

Transport Review

Excellent. Beyond our expectations. The coach drivers can either make or break a trip and they were great.

Overall Review

Alahree is always excellent. Professional and friendly and makes the whole experience straightforward. Always quick to respond to emails and phone calls. The pre-tour experience is managed very well and the communication between Club Europe and the school is very good. Overall I was most impressed with the personal touch. An excellent tour all round.

Visits Review

We had an impromptu ‘coach tour’ of Barcelona before being dropped off at Las Ramblas. This was excellent and is thanks to the coach drivers local knowledge.

Accommodation Review

The destination is excellent. Tossa de Mar is a small and friendly town, where the pupils feel very safe. There is plenty for them to do in spare time.

Overall Review

Lucy was excellent – clear, helpful and prompt.  Problems were dealt with efficiently when they cropped up. Sabine was also excellent. She had a good understanding of what we were looking for, and gave good advice. Club Europe put together a really enjoyable tour for our pupils, which gave them exactly what they needed and were hoping for.

Accommodation Review

It worked very well for our group; a pleasant town, a busy resort but not too busy, and with nothing that made me feel it was inappropriate for our group.

Nil was excellent. He was helpful and well informed about our excursions and concert venues, and made very useful and practical suggestions about how to manage them.

Excellent. Very responsive to our needs and wishes, and outstandingly professional in terms of safety and capability. The drivers were extremely helpful and friendly. They were extremely professional, but also good company.

Overall Review

Alahree and Sabine were always very helpful and their responses were quick when I needed a question answered. It felt more like a holiday than a school trip thanks to the smooth running of the trip from everyone's effort.

Concerts Review

[On a plaza concert]  We had a great audience that came off the beach to listen to us perform. [On an outdoor cocnert] It was a gorgeous setting with the castle in the background.

Accommodation Review

The hotel was fantastic for our needs. The food in particular was exceptional in catering to everyone's food needs.Comfortable beds and air con. Nice pool. Excellent games room. The location was perfect as students were able to walk in to the town or to the local shop safely.

Alahree was excellent. Very understanding and informative as well as happy to help and go the extra mile. Sabine similarly worked really hard to tailor the programme and itinerary to our needs. Overall: relaxing, enjoyable and fun.

Perfect. Food was excellent and the staff were incredibly helpful. The facilities on site were very good and the evening entertainment was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The location was great. We felt things were busy enough to keep pupils occupied at night but quiet enough for us to let them off on their own. This was the perfect balance.

Gemma was excellent. Her knowledge of the areas and her organising of the venues was great. She didn’t try and control the trip but was there as a safety net and for advice. This is the perfect tour manager.

“My most treasured memory of our tour would have to be the extraordinary moment when the large audience in San Gaieta Church rose to their feet, as one, to sing ‘Rosa d’Abril’ with the choir. We had no idea that this Catalan hymn would elicit such an enthusiastic and emotional response. It was an extremely moving moment: international, intimate, yet also intensely local - we really felt part of the community. I will treasure the looks on the faces of the choir, as they acknowledged a rousing standing ovation, for a very long time.”

“Excellent: mid-way between Barcelona and Girona, in a safe and fairly low-key resort. Just what I wanted -next to the beach, close to shops, 10 minutes from the main coastal motorway, but on a quiet road - just about perfect. The staff were lovely. They took a genuine interest in the choir and where we were singing.”

A huge thanks to Hannah for being part of our initial parents evening to give information to parents. Sabine was really helpful through the latter stages of the planning process. Really pleased with the professionalism from all. I am also thankful to Tim for joining us at fairly short notice for our final parents evening to go through COVID expectations which helped us and parents a lot. Thank you. It was an exciting, fun-filled, musical learning experience for all.

Received lots of positive feedback from the audience, and some were dancing by the end! The help we received in loading the two small vehicles to get the larger instruments to the venue was appreciated.
