Open to all choirs, adult or youth, the Malta International Choir Competition in October 2013 offers a diverse range of cultural and musical experiences.
You can compete for the Grand Prize of €3000 or just take part in this exciting event. Highlights include the parade through Valetta Old Town, the opening Ceremony and Singing for Peace at St John’s Co-Cathedral.
Prices start from £698 for a 5 day /4 night tour(based on 40 students & 4 free adults).
The Vienna St. Stephen’s Choir Festival in July 2014 offers a unique opportunity to perform in the Cathedral for a well-established music group.
The festival also features masterclasses with Artistic Director of the Vienna Boys’ Choir, Gerald Wirth. In 2014 he will lead the study of Mozart’s Sparrow Mass and Ramírez’ Misa Criolla.
