We love to shout about the school music tour destinations that get us excited, but when our clients shout about it we simply have to share.
Colette, the party leader from a school in Hertfordshire was particularly impressed by the quality of her tour manager:
“Vlatka, our tour manager was an exceptional leader. She mucked in right from the start and really became part of our group. In the 20 years our school have been touring with Club Europe, she is the best tour manager we have experienced. She had a lovely way with the children and had wonderful knowledge of the area. She was an exceptional team member.“
Helen, a party leader from Lancashire who took her choir and jazz band on a school music tour to Croatia this summer also praised her tour manager:
“Robert was super. He quickly got used to my laid back style and the fact that the heat meant we needed to do less rather than more. He was a super guide of the local town and many other surrounding towns and had much local useful information. Everything was planned well and he liaised well with all the venues…and was a great help with the language barrier.”
As musicians ourselves we know how important it is to have good audiences and our local agent in Croatia did an amazing job arranging the logistics. Among the reports of packed squares, large hotel audiences and welcoming organisers, it was especially rewarding to read this feedback on Helen’s concert at Rijeka cathedral: “This was the best venue for the choirs. The Mass went very well and then the congregation would not let us go at end and we had to keep singing for over 30 minutes! It was fabulous and a standing ovation given to the choir. Really super service!”
Colette summed up her Club Europe touring experience:
“It was an exceptional tour to one of the most beautiful locations we have visited, was great value for money and the surroundings were stunning – our best tour in the 20 years working with Club Europe.”
