Head of Music from a school in Kent can’t wait for her next school music tour.
One of our regular tourers, Jane took her school’s concert band and choir to Evian-Les-Bains in France last month for a wonderful school music trip.
Jane commented: “Alahree was excellent as always – she really understands us and the way we work and Sabine was lovely, super-helpful and very responsive whenever I had questions.
“The hostel was brilliant and suited us absolutely perfectly.”
Speaking of a concert in a school, she said: “What a lovely place. Such nice people, and so interested in us and what we do. They let us use their piano, drum kit, timps, glock, bongos and stands.”
Of her tour manager she commented: “BRILLIANT. I can’t praise Katie enough. She was absolutely great and a joy to be around. By day two she was one of the team and it felt like she’d always been there! She is just a pleasure to be with, and helped make it an absolutely great week.”
In addition to their concert programme highlights of the group’s tour included a river cruise in Evian, climbing the tower of Geneva Cathedral, visiting the studio where some of the rock band Queen’s albums were written and recorded and a visit to an adventure park in Amphion.
Jane summed up: “I love working with CE staff! We’re already counting the days to the next tour!”
