A school from West Sussex have had a fantastic first school music tour to Belgium.
Lizzie their Head of Music said: “It really felt like our itinerary was bespoke to our group and you listened and made changes where we wanted them. Brilliant from start to finish! Thank you for all your hard work and support, we really enjoyed our first music tour.”
A multi-ensemble tour – with a jazz band, steel band and show choir – the group enjoyed concerts in bandstands, squares and gardens. When not performing they took a canal cruise, and enjoyed a day at the Walibi theme park.
“[The hostel] was a perfect location,” Lizzie continued, “the staff were helpful and friendly and the hostel was modern and the students seemed to like it.
“Daniel our tour manager was brilliant, he made the tour so much easier, less stressful, made everything run smoothly. The students really loved him and were sad to see him go. He really was part of the team by the end of our trip.”
A colleague of Lizzie’s, Ashley Venditto wrote to us afterwards saying:
“I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and to the Club Europe Team for your amazing support in the planning and organisation of our trip to Belgium.
“I can honestly say you have been the very best school tour operator I have ever worked with and I had hoped that the on tour experience would also reflect the same standard. So I was delighted to hear from Lizzie last night that you had been amazing over there on tour too, even down to the smallest of detail.”
“I was fortunate enough to be wearing a parent hat on this one too, as my son went along. He is only in Year 7 and he had the most fabulous experience and has not stopped talking about it.
“This was out first music tour, so we are delighted that it has been such a success. What has been so wonderful is that it is the only trip we have we run, that included students from year 7 right through to year 13. We look forward to working with you again in 2016!”
