Following the overwhelming success of our Familiarisation Trip for first time party leaders to Belgium last October, we’re delighted to be running the trip again this October half term.

This is a great chance to learn more about how to plan a school music tour alongside other music leaders and see potential venues and hostels.

Here’s a summary of the trip’s details:

When: 25th – 28th October 2016
Where: Flanders, Belgium.
Who will be there: Members of the Club Europe team, an experienced party leader and former Head of Music and other first time party leaders.
The itinerary: A good mixture of hard work and fun. We’ll visit accommodation centres, concert venues and undertake excursions, familiarising you with how a tour runs and what to look for from your tour operator. There’ll also be short informal workshops with the experts.

Here are some of the wonderful comments music leaders on last year’s trip said about their experience:

The trip was fantastic! I’ve come back raring to go and with great ideas of how to overcome certain problems to help put the tour on.”

Sophie, from a school in Surrey

“Thank you so much for such a brilliant trip! It was really well organised and informative, and it was great to network with other teachers as well. The staff were wonderful and really made the trip.”

Bekki, from a High School in Greater Manchester.
