A wind band and choir from a school in Abu Dhabi have had a fabulous school music tour to Prague and Vienna.
Packed with wonderful performing and sight seeing opportunities, highlights of the tour included:
In Prague:
• Visiting and performing a concert in Podӗbrady, a pretty spa town on the Elbe in Central Bohemia
• A visit to the Anton Dvořák Museum
• Seeing a performance of La Traviata at the State Opera; and
• Watching a midday concert at Prague Castle.
While in Vienna, the group enjoyed:
• A visit to Schönbrunn Castle
• A guided tour of the Viener Staadtsoper
• A visit to Hofburg; and
• Wonderful concerts in some of the cities historic churches.
