One of our London schools enjoyed a wonderful school orchestra tour to Cambridge last month.
Alena, their Head of Music commented: “There was a good balance of performing and other activities. Hannah and Isabel [from Club Europe] were both excellent, prompt with clear communication. Organising the pre-tour inspection for me was really helpful. The accommodation was excellent, perfect for us, just a short walk to Cambridge centre.
“Club Europe made everything run smoothly.”
Speaking about one of the choir’s concerts in a church, she said: “The church staff were very welcoming and kind to us and the children. The verger took them up to the bell tower for their own tour. It was a great place to play.”
On a concert in a local school, she added “It was excellent, a lovely hall to play in. We enjoyed playing for other children. Thank you for setting up and hosting a morning tea for us. The head of music spent the whole morning with us and was very welcoming.”
