'Exciting, rewarding and memorable – something for everyone'

Director of Performing Arts at Bilton Grange School in Warwickshire, Mark Penrose has had a wonderful school music tour to Flanders in Belgium this month.

Here’s what he said about his young choir’s tour: “We had an excellent experience. We would definitely use Club Europe again.

“Alahree, our account manager was very positive, always very helpful and responded promptly and Isabel, our operations manager was always polite and helpful, with excellent communication.”

On performing at the Last Post, he commented: “It was a success. We sang two pieces, so it is hard to pick a highlight, but it was good to have the chance to lay a wreath. It was a very special occasion – everyone was very moved, and we got some great pictures!

“We felt very safe in our accommdation. We were very happy indeed to be located all on one floor. This made everything feel all the safer and more secure.

“Abi our tour manager was utterly brilliant! We got on famously well. Her manner with the pupils was outstanding – you could tell that she is a very experienced teacher. She made everything so much easier than I had expected. She was indispensable!

Mark summed up: “It was exciting, rewarding and memorable – something for everyone.”
