One of our prep schools from Essex have just come back from a wonderful school music tour to Flanders.
In addition to an exciting itinerary of activities, including a boat trip, and visits to Ypres and Brussels, the young choir performed in a church, a cathedral and took part in the ceremony at the Last Post.
Here’s what Alvaro Cortes from Holmwood House Prep School had to say about their experience.
“I was pleased with Club Europe’s management and very happy with the itinerary. The communication with Lucy and Isabel was good.
“There was a big audience for our concert in a cathedral and they seemed to engage with us. The Last Post was also a very special venue and a moving ceremony; the whole service was great.
“Our hostel was in a very convenient, good location. It was great to be near the beach, where we went several times. The hostel was also great for the children to relax in and the practise room was very useful.
“Our tour manager Matthew was very supportive and sorted out any problems we had. He was very enthusiastic and professional. It was great to have him.”
