Along with the superb weather, we have had some superb feedback from our early summer music tours.
James Head of Music from West Glamorgan took his choir and orchestra to Barcelona.
“It was relaxing, enjoyable and fun,” he reported. “Alahree (their account manager) was excellent; very understanding and informative as well as happy to help and go the extra mile. Sabine (their operations manager) similarly worked really hard to tailor the programme and itinerary to our needs.
“The accommodation,” he said, “was perfect. The location was great. We felt things were busy enough to keep pupils occupied at night but quiet enough for us to let them off on their own. This was the perfect balance.”
Speaking of his tour manager, he commented: “Gemma was excellent. Her knowledge of the areas and her organising of the venues was great. She didn’t try and control the trip but was there as a safety net and for advice. This is the perfect tour manager.
And of his coach drivers, he said:: “Top notch. They were incredibly professional and friendly. The drivers built meaningful relationships with staff and pupils. They had a real professionalism behind the things they did. We would want to travel with them every time.”
Chris, Head of Music from Worcestershire has just returned from a school music trip to the Rhineland with his his jazz band, rock band and choir.
He summed up his experience: “Alahree and Sabine were excellent as per usual. There’s always friendly communication and a flexible approach. I always recommend you on the teacher forums I’m in..you know I love you all!”
