At Club Europe, we firmly believe that safety and enjoyment go hand in hand when planning a tour. That's why, when you book a trip with us, it's a requirement that you secure appropriate and valid specialist group travel insurance for the entire duration of your journey.
In our commitment to your safety, Club Europe has joined forces with Howden Insurance to craft a tailor-made group travel insurance policy that shields you against an array of unexpected risks.
The group policy has been established to benefit those embarking on a trip (the beneficiary/beneficiaries) with Club Europe (the group policyholder).
Before finalising your booking, it is imperative that you thoroughly review the insurance policy to understand the extent of the coverage it offers. We recommend sending insurance details to all trip participants at the time of booking to ensure everyone, including parents or guardians for those under 18, is well-informed about the complete terms of the policy.
If you choose to take out travel insurance with Club Europe, please bear in mind that your policy will become active as soon as we receive deposits for all group members. If this coverage doesn't meet your specific needs, you have the option to opt out of the Howden policy.
Let us know within 14 days of booking if you wish to do so.
If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, our friendly team are always happy to answer any of your queries.
Contact usIt is the parents' responsibility to confirm whether their child needs a visa to travel and to oversee this process. A useful website to help parents with acquiring visas is Student Expedition Extras. Click on your "destination" and follow the instructions.
We recommend starting the visa application process as soon as you have confirmed the booking, as some embassies require at least 6 months to provide appointments.
Club Europe will provide the necessary documents to assist but can only do this once we have received the following:
· First deposits: to confirm the trip is taking place.
· Passenger names & gender for those needing visas (as they appear in the passport).
· Dates of birth for those needing visas.
Please note that failure to obtain a travel visa and therefore inability to travel is not an insurable cancellation condition. The cancellation will therefore be liable to our standard cancellation terms.

Covid Document v4Under Britain’s new agreement with the EU, UK residents can continue to access emergency care in the EU, using the new GHIC, which will gradually replace existing European Health Insurance Cards (EHIC).
EHIC and GHIC cards offer equivalent protection and you only need to apply for a GHIC when your EHIC expires.
You can find everything you need to know about EHIC here.
The GHIC is free and you can apply for one here

I have had excellent service as always. We used the sites as sources of historical evidence to aid GCSE performance. All aspects of the trip were very well organised.
