The region of Flanders, in Belgium’s north, was home to many of Europe’s finest artists through the centuries and there are many opportunities for students of Art to visit some significant sites. Brussels, meanwhile, has some of the finest art museums in Europe where our student travel groups can discover masterpieces both classic and contemporary.
Day 1
Travel to Brussels by air or Eurostar and transfer to your accommodation. Free time to explore the local area.
Day 2
Full day visit to Antwerp to see Ruben’s House and enjoy a guided tour of important places of artistic interest. Return to Brussels.
Day 3
Morning visit to Ghent to visit the Museum of Fine Arts and enjoy a canal cruise. Afternoon return to Brussels to visit one of the many art galleries and museums in the city.
Day 4
Morning to be spent in the medieval city of Bruges. Spend time at a chocolatier followed in the afternoon with a visit to Groeningemuseum. Return to Brussels and enjoy a disco evening at your accommodation.
Day 5
Meet the coach and transfer to Brussels airport or Eurostar terminal for your journey home.

Our groups stay in centrally-located youth hostels in Brussels, within easy reach of the many sites this city has to offer. We can also arrange for your group to stay in the cities of Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp.

The most pleasant time of year to come to Europe is between May and September; you may wish to consider this when planning your tour. Summer temperatures across Europe range from 18-35 degrees Celsius. European cities in winter can also offer many interesting cultural experiences that you may enjoy.
