Our tailor-made History of Art trips to Rome are excellent for GCSE, AS and A Level groups alike. With over 3,000 years of history, culture and architecture, Rome is one of the most beautiful and ancient cities in the world. Offering a wonderful opportunity to discover some of the ancient sites that inspired the greatest writers and artists of Roman history, the city has a wide variety of prestigious museums and galleries to visit.
Day 1
Morning flight to Rome. Afternoon free to explore.
Day 2
Morning visit to the prestigious Borghese Gallery, which houses major works by Raphael, Rubens and Titian. Afternoon shopping in Rome's cosmopolitan boutiques and department stores.
Day 3
Morning visit to The Palazzo Colonna, which displays masterpieces by artists such as Lorenzo Monaco and Bronzino. Afternoon trip to the Modern National Gallery.
Day 4
Morning trip to Doria Pamphili Gallery, which houses one of Rome's most distinguished private art collections, including works by Caravaggio, Titian, Velázquez, Lotto and Bellini. Afternoon flight home.
