A visit to Rome is an enriching experience for Classics students of all ages. With over 3,000 years of history, culture and architecture, the Eternal City offers a wonderful opportunity to discover some of the ancient sites that inspired the greatest writers of Roman literature.
Day 1
Travel to Rome by air, transfer to your accommodation. Time to explore the local area.
Day 2
Spend the day in Ostia with its ancient port and excavation site.
Day 3
Spend the day exploring the historical sites of the city including the Colosseum, Trajan's Column and the Forum.
Day 4
Morning at the Triumphal Arch of Constantine and visit to the Pantheon Temple. Afternoon trip to Tivoli to visit Hadrian’s Villa.
Day 5
Check out of your accommodation and transfer to the airport for your return flight.

The religious, political and cultural centre of the Roman Empire. Study the reliefs on Trajan’s column that portrays over 100 war scenes.

Each session (about two hours) will include an introduction to Roman History (in the Gladiator Museum), a description of life as a Gladiator and the basic techniques of gladiatorial sword fighting.

Once your student travel tour is booked, it is safely in our hands. We will only ask for you assistance in understanding your specific requirements and you will be responsible for ensuring that the dates on our checklist are adhered to. During the process, we will also ask you to provide accurate student and teacher name, passport and dietary requirement details where appropriate.
