In 1517, Luther signalled the beginning of the Reformation by posting 95 theses at Wittenberg. Discover the vivid record of how religion evolved in Germany during the Reformation in the 16th century where the Renaissance, a humanistic movement, spread to Germany, and many came to question the absolute power of the Catholic Church.
Day 1
Travel to Berlin by air and transfer to Leipzig by coach. Visit some of the city’s iconic sites such as St. Thomas Church and the Museum of City History.
Day 2
After Breakfast travel to Erfurt to visit the famous Protestant Augustinian Monastery. After lunch enjoy a guided tour based on the life of Martin Luther.
Day 3
Depart your accommodation after breakfast and travel to Eisleben to visit the house where Martin Luther lived and spent the last years of his life.
Day 4
Spend the morning with a visit to St. Nicholas Church to see the Luther Pulpit. Time for lunch, followed by further exploration of Leipzig’s rich culture.
Day 5
Check out of your accommodation and transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Yes, there are many advantages to this. One is that greater numbers sign up which means a lower tour price per student. Another is that a diverse (two-subject) itinerary can broaden the horizons of both ‘groups’ though, of course, we can create separate agendas for each if preferred.
We carefully listen to your curriculum needs and tailor-make your itinerary to achieve the best possible result.
You should book your tour between 8-18 months in advance. This will give us time to secure the best possible accommodation and excursion programme for your tour and you will have ample time for fundraising should you need to do so.
