The historic capital of Bavaria and renowned for its annual Oktoberfest celebration, Munich has a wealth of culture and attractions to keep students happy. Watch the popular glockenspiel show in the Marienplatz, visit the Olympiapark Munich, BMW Welt and the awe-inspiring palace, Schloss Neuschwanstein.
Day 1
Arrive at Munich airport and transfer to your accommodation. Make your way by public transport to Marienplatz, taking the S-Bahn. Free time to visit the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady). If travelling during December, enjoy the Advent atmosphere at Munich’s wonderful Christmas market. Evening meal at your accommodation.
Day 2
Make your way by public transport to visit the memorial site at Dachau Concentration Camp, where every student will have an audioguide. Then travel by bus to Olympiazentrum where students will have free time to explore the park and climb the Olympia Tower if they want. Walk through the park to BMW World for a guided tour. Evening meal at your accommodation, then enjoy an evening of bowling.
Day 3
Depart by coach for Hohenschwangau for your guided tour of Schloss Neuschwanstein. There will be time to look in the shop and around the courtyard. In the afternoon travel by coach to Füssen. If travelling during December, enjoy Winterwonderland Füssen, a Bavarian Christmas market. Evening meal at your accommodation.
Day 4
Make your way to the Allianz Arena for your guided tour of the stadium, the magnificent home of the famous Bayern Munich football team. Travel back to the airport for your return journey home.
The 99m high twin towers are one of Munich’s landmarks. The large interior forms a bastion of tranquillity in the midst of the city’s shopping hubbub.
Germany’s first concentration camp. Within the camp headquarters there is now a museum which serves as a poignant reminder of the horrors of World War II.

An atmospheric Bavarian Christmas market in the baroque courtyard of the Abbey of St. Mang at the heart of Füssen‘s historical town centre. There are always lots of local arts and crafts.

Europe’s modern football stadium, with a capacity of more than 70,000. It has a particularly impressive façade, which has 2,760 diamond-shaped cushions forming the world’s biggest membrane cladding.
Stay at the A&O Müenchen Hackerbrüecke, a modern centrally-located hostel with a lovely rooftop terrace with great views. All rooms have their own balcony, shower or bath.
Yes, there are many advantages to this. One is that greater numbers sign up which means a lower tour price per student. Another is that a diverse (two-subject) itinerary can broaden the horizons of both ‘groups’ though, of course, we can create separate agendas for each if preferred.

Once your student travel tour is booked, it is safely in our hands. We will only ask for you assistance in understanding your specific requirements and you will be responsible for ensuring that the dates on our checklist are adhered to. During the process, we will also ask you to provide accurate student and teacher name, passport and dietary requirement details where appropriate.
